Goldie locks

The Boy has longer hair than many kids twice his age. It is blonde and beautiful and full of curls with a hint of strawberry. We have no interest in cutting it. But when his hair was getting tangled up in his eyelashes we knew we had to do something.

So, we brought him over to the local barber shop, the kind that sells cigars and is decorated with all things elegantly macho. Oliver Finn sat with his first lollipop and, as he always does, enjoyed having his hair brushed. I'd hardly even call it a first haircut. It was barely a trim, the guy didn't even charge us.

His curls still stick out sideways behind his ears and most people still think he's a girl because of it. His parents however think he is the most handsome fellow that could ever be and will likely not cut his hair until some girl sticks her gum in it.
